Will the emergence of a new news and opinion channel impact the science policy debate in Canada?

There is an opportunity for this new channel to capture a significant portion of the analysis, news, and opinion related to Canadian science policy, if they so choose.  This is especially true since no other major Canadian television channels can truly lay claim to the science policy sphere...
