Decoding Federal Budget 2018 for Science and Innovation

Would you like to know more about the Federal Budget 2018? Have you made sense of the numbers for science and innovation in the budget? What does the budget mean for you and the Canadian research enterprise?
The Canadian Science Policy Centre (CSPC) is hosting an event with the support of the University of Toronto at MaRS on April 17, 2018, 4:00-5:30 PM on ‘Decoding Federal Budget 2018 for Science and Innovation.’ The event is free and open to the public with no RSVP required, simply save the date and attend.
The panel session will be led by Dave Watters, who worked for 30 years in the Canadian Public Service in a variety of Economic Ministries, including Industry Canada, Treasury Board Canada, and Finance Canada, where he was responsible for overseeing federal Economic Development and Corporate Finance policies and developing federal Budgets.
