Insect Pharming for producing biodegradable battery components by GIIP approach

Connected Conference Theme: Innovation Policy and Economic Development

Battery-powered vehicles are becoming part of the daily transportation and garbage produced from dead batteries will be a grand challenge in the near future. Battery-operated vehicles will be environmentally sustainable, but in the long run, the inability to recycle batteries will be translated into a problem. Insect pharming to produce raw material for environmentally sustainable approach will serve as a Natural solution to nature-related challenges. Triple action from government, industry and insect pharming can decrease greenhouse gas emissions, and it will be achievable to reach the net zero carbon emission goal on time. The GIIP approach will develop new avenues for business opportunities and supply chains. Exploring new ways of research, a collaboration between the academia and industry can pave new ways to utilize available resources in such a way that can exceed the industry’s expectations and regulatory requirements in a natural way. Providing such a policy can serve as a vaccine before the occurrence of a disease.
