If your career intersects with science — as researchers, policy-makers, or practitioners — then communication is a daily task. Whether your goal is to drive policy change, engage the public, or inform the scientific community, it can be challenging to communicate in a way that resonates with your audience.

This workshop will equip you with strategies to proactively craft communications that will meet your objectives. You will leave with tools to identify your communication goals, simplify your language and messaging, and appeal to target audiences. When applied to scientific communications, these approaches will increase the comprehension, relevance, retention, and therefore the impact of your message.
