Bias and inequity within the research ecosystem influence the trajectory of national and international research, as well as future generations of researchers and institutions. In order to achieve world class research, systemic barriers that limit full participation of Canadian talent must be removed.

Sponsored by the National Killam Program, this panel brings together Equity, Diversity and Inclusion leaders to discuss concrete actions they are taking to overcome bias and advance equity in decision making.  Based on their own professional and personal experiences panelists will share insights on approaches to create a more equitable research ecosystem.
